Email . It helps if you include:

  • your iPhone model and iOS version;
  • what you did and what happened, with a screenshot if you can.

For anything about your own data, email and include the support code from the app (see below), because TravelMate has no account and the code is how we find what to delete.

Plans

TravelMate is free to plan with: your first trip is free whatever the limits, and planning in chat stays free afterwards within fair-use limits. Pro unlocks the companion on the trip itself, and comes in three forms:

  • Monthly — renews every month until you cancel.
  • Yearly — renews every year until you cancel, and starts with a free trial.
  • Trip Pass — one purchase that unlocks Pro for 14 days and then ends. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. Buying another pass while one is running extends the end date; buying a pass while a subscription is active keeps it in reserve, and it starts if the subscription ends first.

Prices are the amounts Apple shows you at the moment of purchase. Your current plan and the date it ends are shown in the app under Settings.

Restore a purchase. On a new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account, open TravelMate and tap Restore purchases — on the subscription screen, or in Settings → Plan. The app tells you what it found: what was restored, that nothing active was found, that you are offline, or that the purchase is still waiting for approval.

Manage or cancel. In the app, Settings → Plan → Manage subscription opens Apple's page for you. Or go there yourself: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, tap TravelMate, then Cancel Subscription, or open https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or before a free trial ends, to avoid being charged. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. A Trip Pass has nothing to cancel — it ends on its own.

Refunds. Apple handles all payments and refunds, so we cannot issue them. Request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

What happens when Pro ends

Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted.

  • Trips you have already downloaded stay on your iPhone and keep working offline, including their days, places, routes and guide texts. Changes you make to a trip afterwards download again only with Pro.
  • The Pro extras in Your World lock again: the full badge collection and the complete Year in Travel.
  • The guide keeps reading aloud in your phone's own voice for three new places per trip; replaying a place you have already heard on the free guide is free.
  • Planning in chat keeps working within the free limits.
  • The studio voice, the camera guide, nearby places and new offline downloads ask you to subscribe again rather than failing.

Offline

A downloaded trip works with no connection: the plan, the days, the places, the routes and every guide text, read aloud by your phone. Anything that thinks needs the internet — chat and planning, the studio voice, the camera guide and nearby places.

Your support code, and deleting your data

TravelMate has no account. The app identifies itself to our server with a random key, and the support code in Settings is how you tell us which installation is yours. It looks like XXXX-XXXX; tapping it copies it.

To delete everything: open Settings → Delete all my data in the app. It erases your trips and your travel history from our server and from this iPhone, along with your preferences, and resets the app's key. It needs an internet connection; offline it tells you so and does nothing by halves. It cannot change your Photos permission — that stays as you set it in iOS Settings.

If you would rather write to us, email and include the support code. Without it we may not be able to find your data, and we will tell you if we cannot (GDPR Article 11).

Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple — cancel that separately, as described above.

Your travel history stays on your phone

Your World is built on your iPhone from the dates and places in your photo library. The photos never leave the device. Deleting the app deletes the history; installing the app again rebuilds it from your photos.

One exception, and only if you switch it on: with Travel memory enabled, the chat sends the countries and places relevant to the trip you are planning along with that message, so the plan can take account of where you have already been. Your photos are never sent, and we do not store the list.

About the AI

Places, opening hours, prices and the guide texts are generated by AI from public sources. Treat them as a starting point and check anything that matters on site. TravelMate is a travel companion, not a safety service: it does not know about closures, hazards or local conditions.
